POSITION: Fertilization Service Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION: Will work with a crew that services lawn and gardens throughout south Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Will apply nutritional sprays, granular or liquid fertilizers, weed control and various other products throughout residential and commercial properties.
Has Technical ability. This is very important, you will be dealing with machinery, chemicals, pesticides, measuring products, calibrating equipment and working on electronic tablets.
Labor intensive job: able to pull hoses upwards to 300 feet around properties while spraying lawn and ornamentals at the same time. Able to carry bags of fertilizers up to 50lbs and can work outdoors the whole day and endure working in heat.
Able to wear PPE (personal protective equipment such as mask and respirator)
Does not require any pest control or fertilization experience. We will provide on the job training.
You must be responsible, courteous, clean cut and on time.
Must have a valid Florida driver’s license able to drive a truck with another crew member.
OUTDOORS: able to work outdoors, starting 6:00 AM until late afternoon working totally outdoors.
DRESS CODE: required because service some high-end communities as Ocean Reef: long hair must be tied back, no body piercing during work hours, beard very close cut so mask has a tight fit.
TESTS: Drug testing and a Background check will be performed. A Fit test will also be performed to make sure you are able to breathe properly through a mask.
PAY: starting pay at $14.00 per hour.
